Spent three days with a group of volunteers working on the Kaimai Ridgeway clearing more of the badly overgrown Kaimai North - South route south of Pahiko. We setup our campsite on a slip just south of Pahiko and managed to clear another 1km of track as displayed on the map below. The views north from the highpoint south of the campsite are spectacular and well worth the effort.
