After sitting out a day of poor weather in Balloon hut we escaped into the clouds checking out Salisbury Lodge and the rock shelters before climbing past Cloustons Mine onto Gordons Pyramid. From there climbing up onto Mt Arthur to the saddle between it's Winter and Main Peaks just as the cloud descended once again. We retreated back to Mt Arthur hut for night to end the trip at Flora saddle early the next morning when Peter from Nelson Lakes Shuttles delivered us back to the airport.
